Gave it a go in a small way when I first read it when I was about 19 - only lasted about four days though! Mostly used it to try new things but was too rigid (and scared!) to apply it to the 'important' bits of my life. Got into a couple of fights, tried a couple of illegal things, had some interesting encounters, painted some bad pictures and set out to walk from London to Reading (got as far as Ashford - go me!). Did get rid of a very boring boyfriend though so it wasn't all bad....;)

really enjoyed the book, but can u imagine trying to live like that, too much chaos for my liking
so no i didnt.
but i wouldn't be surprised if people did
