I can agree with you about people in the real world, but on-line I can't but agree with you.

Anonymity gives some emotionally immature and weak people bravado.

I think that people are mean to others because they are scared of life, unhappy with themselves, or feel inferior for some reason. I know that when I am feeling bad about who I am or feeling way less cool or interesting than someone else, it's hard to be positive- and negative feelings show through almost every disguise. So, when someone is grumpy or mean or whatever, I try and compliment them or say something that might somehow make them realize they're not just a peice of sh*t

for every uptight and rude person in this world i try to remember that there is a happy positive one somewhere to. just hard to find them sometimes. :)
