Not California or New York! I think it is either Arkansas, Louisiana, or Mississippi.

I would guess a place like Mississippi, Arkansas or perhaps West Virginia. These states tend to be fairly poor states.

Iowa~low crime rates and lower taxes. Gas prices are generaly 50 cent a gallon cheaper than here. They do have many amentities, contrary to belief...not everyone lives in a corn field! Very nice state.
