did you ever sit on the couch, not even hungry, and turn on the Food Network and started drooling so much about the food they were showing that you had to jump in the car and go to a restaurant to have that food even if its 10:00 at night?

I did last night. I watched a show about texas bbq and ended up at a local roadhouse eating ribs at 10:15 last night.

Watching the Food Channel general inspires me to whirl around the kitchen and whip up something creative, with the ingredients I happen to have on hand. I usually incorporate a new technique that the Chef on television has just demonstrated. No matter what I manage to concoct at those times, I always try to compose a beautiful, restaurant quality presentation---my version of BAM!!
