It already is, hell it was more acceptable to be a gamer then to call yourself Goth just a few years ago. Goths can claim they have been around for years BUT until recently they were outcasts who now say well we were Goths back then too, odd how no one knew that was the term.

The minute somebody attaches a term to a group of people, they become labelled. That's the way it works. You can worry about it or you can ignore it.
