The dreaded fight with the duvet cover LOL I can see the vision now, people in side the duvet cover trying to get the duvet in to the corner LMAO
Amethyst2 is right though... wash the duvet cover inside out, put hands in and find top corners of cover, grab corners of duvet and shake it in... sounds easy but I must say I do still get hot and bothered, I have a kingsize duvet and some of my kingsize covers doesnt fit it properly and sometimes its hard to sus out which way the duvet actually goes so I ended up writting top/bottom on the actual duvet which makes life a little easier.

It's certainly a hassle!! Especially if it's Kingsize which mine are! I find the best way is to start with the duvet cover inside out. Put your arms right inside to the far corners. Line them up with the 2 bottom corners of the duvet, grab the corners (whilst staying inside the cover) and kind of turn it inside out, not letting go! Then shake well and work the sides of the duvet cover down the length of the duvet! I just wish my arms were twice as long as they are!!

I change dozens of duvet covers every night at work. The best way is to have the cover inside out, put your hands into each of the two far corners, grip the two corresponding corners of the duvet through the cover and flip the whole thing over and slide the cover down the duvet. It really is the quickest and simplest way.

I find it hard because before I even start I'm already up for a fight!!! Ikea duvet covers have a small gap at the top corners so you can hold the duvet itself so that when you shake it out...it doesn't disappear back into the cover

I always struggle too! Try putting the cover onto the duvet inside out and pegging the top two corners before shaking it out. Much easier if there are two of you are of if you are part of a couple get your other half to help!

Yes. I personally find the best thing is to leave the cover on the duvet until it rots away, then buy a new showhouse which has a bed already made up.
