And by the same turn, lets make-believe Bush's economy is bad.

What will either of these issues matter when your city is left irradiated and cesium laced because Abdualla detonated a dirty bomb?

Wouldn't a rational person consider national security the most important issue facing our nation.

A rational person would, but National security should involve ALL threats. If Al Gores Theory is wrong, why is Bush and the White House thugs trying to bully scientists into keeoing quiet on this issue? The Economy is bad, shipping jobs over sea's and running up huge trade deficts is also a threat to our national security. When the Chines goverment invests millions of dollars in our country, buying up real estate and other securities I would say that is a threat to our National security. The Bush white house is selling our country out from under us. Its a shame the American public is not informed enough and yet they are allowed to vote.

Yes, a rational person would and this is why the Bush Administration has to go. They have weakened us economically, militarily and diplomatically by starting a war on bad intelligence that they will not commit the equipment and troops to finish properly. They have done nothing effective to safeguard many of the weakest points at our borders and shipping areas and in fact tried to defend the outsourcing of control of our ports to other countries. They have not enacted any real laws that boost border patrols, allow for the inspection of shipping containers or provide tax cuts for sensitive businesses such as chemical facilites to pay for better security. They are all talk and no action and are doing nothing to prevent an act exactly like the one you are mentioning, instead they are creating an atmosphere in which it is more and more likely to occur.

are you joking? do you have any regard for anything not confined within the USA's borders? Has the USA and world become a safer place since Bush was elected. Thinking like yours is the very reason we face these problems. That there are people out there buying into Bush's idea that the way forward is restricted freedoms and offensive action is the problem the WORLD faces.

absolutely true...Environment is second to security..Economy will not matter if we are not safe...
Because of Iraq..America is less safe...Because our President had no post war plan, we have created a vaccum of terrorists and mutiplied them ten fold. Because our President lied about the reason we went to war has changed 20 times and the freeworld thinks of our president as the second most dangerous man in the world...Bin Laden number 1, Bush number 2 ....
National security and Iraq are the biggest factors...If your happpy with "stay the course" Vote with the Republicans...If you want to catch Osama bin Laden ..Vote Democratic....
