I think that bargnani needs more minutes because here are his stats, but the minutes
Game 1: 9 minutes, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, 3 fouls
Game 2: 10minutes, 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 foul
Game 3: 11minutes, 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 fouls
As you can see, by giving him like one minute look what he is accomplishing.
He should be their main bench.
Maybe be a Ben Gordon, like a sixth man of the year.
The raptors' starting centre Rasho Nesterovic is a very good centre because he opens space for CB4(Chris Bosh #4), and I understand that he is alot stronger.
I think they should make Bargnani go to the post alot more.
And give Bargnani more minutes against tougher teams so that he becomes like chris bosh, where bosh was playing alot more centre in his rookie year; this made Bosh alot stronger
What do you Guys think about this?

first you cant compare bosh and bargnani. its like apples and oranges. with bargnani you are absolutely correct, he needs more time, but what is hurting him that he gets into foul trouble. he played on the italian team and in the european league you can get away with alot more physical play. he is use to style of play, and he just needs a few weeks adjust to the nba style. With Cb4 locked up and bargnani coming into his own we will have one of the most prodominent front courts along with nestro composed of speed, size, strenght and most importantly skill.

So for now give him time its an 82 game season if he doesn't show any improvement by the 14 game then we have some concern about our number 1 draft pick.

and RAPTORS RULE

its going to take some time for Bargnani to turn into a star. Not only is he from a different country, but he is playing in a new city, in a new league, and also has the pressure of being the '06 1st draft pick of the year.

I think he's young so you have to increase gradually with him, to see what he can take. If he wants more minutes he has to earn them like everyone else. But theres no dout he will be a great player, especially in about 2 years when he packs on a bit of muscle.

well afterall he was drafted from a italian team. he needs some time to get use to the nba.. by giving him little by little he can slowly get use to it. He will probably get more playing time through out the season.

Bosh was different, when u saw him play u knew he was going to be a great player.

well i think he needs to earn them 1st, it doesn't matter if he's the 1st pick or the last pick all nba players went threw a tyme where they had to make a name for them self's to get get more playing tyme, don't worry by the ttyme mid-season comes along he will get the playing tyme after bosh,.
