You obviously haven't got over the fact that Bell was chosen over Tharanga in the ICC awards.
It's too early to tell who would be better. It's just the beginning of both careers and both are indeed promising. Things should be in place when we see both players performing against various oppositions, on various surfaces.
To summarise now: Tharanga is the typical subcontinent flashy player. Loads of talent strokerswise. But temperament? That would take time to find out.
Bell is again the typical English talent who has come out of the rigours of county cricket. If he gets out of the Ashes unscathed, it would be a big bonus for him.
To summarise, this isn't the time to know who is better. Let's wait for at least a season or two more.

i think it would depend on how well a person likes Ian or Upul......If u like Ian better then Upul then of course Ion would be more talented......
