The Seniors of the clubs bribed refferees and even though the referees may not have made unfair decisions, it is the fact that the bribe was passed that caused the clubs to be punished. I have reviewed many of Juventus' games last year and could not find any unfair decision, and the players won the league on their own merit, but there was the bribery that took place, even though it was not excecuted, there was corruption high up, and that caused them to be punished.

Juve were accused of instigating (starting) the match-fixing scandal, in that the chairman bribed referees, officials and other clubs to let them win. Because it was they who started it, they received the worst punishment.
The other clubs were accused of collaborating with Juve, and were given punishments as befits their degree of involvement. Lazio and Fiorentina were reinstated into Serie A after they appealed the sentences and were approved.

i heard they the chairmens paid off players of other teams so that when they played them they would make silly mistakes like scoring own goals, they also paid off referees so they would get favourable treatment and descisions like penalties and other goal scoring oppertunities would go their way.
