I can't answer how that might affect your status in your culture. But in my culture you might get some second glances if you're not going to a rave or something like that (a rave is a certain kind of party).

Anyway. As far as i'm concerned. I might be jealous that you can do things that I couldn't.

So you might take some flak (criticism) but the only thing you can do is try it and see what happens. Who knows? you might start a big trend in your country/ culture.

Typically the perception is that the US is too nationalistic, religious and parochial. Too many Americans are ignorant about the rest of the world, and some are even proud of the fact. There's also a perception that Americans are generally somewhat bloodthirsty or aggressive - mostly that's to do with the gun culture, execution and portrayal in the media.

A very good friend of mine also did the eyeliner thing. It suited his image as the vocalist for a progressive metal/rock band. Buy it try it and see what reaction you get from other people. Then you can base your decision on that. Good luck eyeliner, oh er guyliner boy!!

The fact that you asked us not to judge you shows that you are expecting to be judged. That's probably the biggest problem you might be facing, but if you don't care what others might say/think then you might just be looking for a way to justify using eyeliner to yourself. If that's the case then i think trying something new and different is a good-enough reason.

It's not the trend , it's not the style of something , somewhere ... It's your style . You are the person who decide it .Because Harajuku is your character ,your love , and you are the only one who create it . Noone can label you .

I think that if you are wanting to put on makeup like a woman does, and it's not for a stage performance, then you might have some issues. I'm sorry; I'm just being honest, not trying to be rude. I'm not going to tell you that "deep down" you are gay, because I believe that is a choice. But I do believe that the temptation is there for you, to be that way. I think that you should consider getting some counseling. Getting counseling does not mean you're crazy--it just means that you are smart enough to realize that you need someone's help to get through life right now. Good luck.

It's not all that new for guys to wear eyeliner. Remember the hair bands back in the 80's?

I have always envied guys because they don't need make-up. Don't do it...too eighties. If you want to change your style, get a wardrobe make over or try a new haircut. Don't forget how lucky you can be to be what God made you.

Guys just shouldn't be wearing eyeliner period. It's still makeup and looks unnatural for a guy to be wearing it. Just my opinion of course.

Blah, do what you want. Sure you should be doing something so 'outlandish' (ooh, eyeliner... scary!) when you can't even do it without being approved by an anonymous community?

Get the frell over yourself and do what you want.
