2 = 3-1
3= 3
4= 3+1
5= 9-4
6 = 9-3
7 = so on

40 = 27+9+3+1

The minimum no. of weights is 4 i.e. 1,3,9,27
take 1 multiply it by 3 and then multiply the result(3) by 3 and then again
the answers are 1,3,9,27
if we add these we would get 40
and we can measure all the weights from 1 to 40 by using these weights
