I'm going into theatre day after tomorrow for an op and i should be in hospital for about 5 days. Since finding out yesterday mu husband has been so mean to me and is constantly picking a fight over the smallest thing. Doesn't he realise that this is unneccessary stress that i don't need right now

It could be that being mean and sniping at you is the only way he has of showing you how stressed out he is over the situation. It could also be that he doesn't realize how he's acting towards you. I would talk to him and let him know how his actions are making you feel. Make sure he knows what you're expecting from him. Good luck!

Talk to your husband why he treats you that way. Maybe something's bothering him too. Let him understand that you are going under a lot of stress and the way he's treating you isn't helping you. Just talk to your husband. Communicate. Listen to him when he talks too. And try your best to understand him. Then also, let him understand how you feel.

maybe he doesn't. there re lots of people who can't have compassion or empathy to others. so tell him. make him feel guilty, u re a woman, aren't u? this is what we re strong in - making others feel guilty
