When my friend's 7 year old sister died of an aneurysm, her parents donated one of her eyes to a blind man. They didn't want to donate both of her eyes because she had beautiful eyes.

my uncle received a heart and kidney transplant that gave him life for an additional 13 years...someone elses loss gave us more time to enjoy our family member...am i selfish, yes? am i grateful to those who lost a beautiful woman, yes! yes, because they in their time of sorrow were able to give the gift to us--total strangers....so, my answer is of course my organs are being donated....

Yes I am. I am willing to donate everything but my eyes. If I died, i know I no longer need any of those organs and there's so many people out there who could use them. But the reason I can't donate my eyes is cuz (even though I'm dead) they are still the 'windows to my soul' and to me they are mine and only mine. I know that's weird, but its how I feel.
