If a 18 yrs old boy like you has forgotten the principles of Balanced Diet, just dig into any primary class text book- it would throw a lot of light on all such stuff. In nutshell, I have just to add that you must stop taking all that junk food. Your battle is half won !! Rest take a lot of salads, sprouts and soak a handful of groundnuts into water overnight and in the morning take it with jaggery(gur) along with breakfast. Unfortunately, there is so much to tell you...just practice what you read about healthy food. Basically problem with us is that we know a lot but we dont practice. Just follow all natural principles when it comes to nutrition also. Good luck !!

Take 5 to 6 servings of fruits and fresh green vegetables daily. Instead of rice, eat chapatis. Since you said you are a veggie, drink lots of milk everyday. Cheese, green peas are the major sources of proteins in veg diet. Include them. In addition to this, exercise daily but do not overdo as it may weaken you. Eat lots and lots of vegetables esp the starch-rich ones like potatoes.
Good luck dudey!
