I had a llama with a similar problem. I taught him how to parascend, using a length of bamboo and 48 hand stitched fruit bats. Hey presto... problem solved.

I was once chased around a picnic table while trying to photograph a bison in Yellowstone Park. Fortunately I was more agile than the beast and was able to escape his lowered
horns, but I assure you, real bison are not afraid of anything.

How is he with stair lifts? or lifts in general? I don't think shock treatment is the right path for you. Maybe a light sedative before any lengthy shopping trips may help? Or programme some calming music/easy listening into his generic mp3 player.

I think I saw him rampaging around in the china shop!

And no... it was shocking enough at the time without a further repetition...

When I last saw him he reminded me of the significant difference between a buffalo and a bison....

It is...of course.... that you can wash your hands in a bison!
