She may still have feelings for you. Or she may be keeping the photos for her son. Just because the relationship between you and her ended doesn't mean there wasn't a bond of some kind with the whole family. It may have been an important part of both of their lives and they want to remember it.

Just because you break-up with someone doesn't mean that they want totally forget about you. In your case you say you took care of her child like he was yours. Maybe she want to remember the good times you guys enjoyed together and the times you spent with her son. Also she might to maybe keep the pics so she tell her son about you someday. So don't get all bent up about this you should feel kind of poud that she just didn't throw away the pics. They are memories of the good and precious times you guys spent together.

I threw away all the pictures I had of my exes, and now I wish I hadn't. I don't mean that as an "I still love them and wanna get back together" thing. I have two small girls, and I would like to have a picture to at least show them that at one time, me and their daddy was happy together. My mom keeps pictures like that, but I don't. Even though I tell her she can throw them away, I'm glad she don't. It will be good for my girls to see that I was happy with their dad, even if we ain't together anymore.

There's nothing wrong with her keeping the pictures; you were an important part of her, and her son's life. Many people keep pictures of fond memories, so don't make it out to be more than it really is.

Throwing out pictures is something you do in highschool. Maybe she thinks in the long run her son needs the memory. Poor kid. I bet he needs a father figure, and you may have been that for a short time.

Well what do you think her son would feel like if she through pictures away of his "family"? That's probably why she keeps them. How do you know this anyway?

Women keep stuff like that. They don't just forget you. Plus I would like to ask you why if you took care of this child like he was yours, why would you just expect to be able to just walk away and not want this boy to remember you in any way. You were a part of his life. Maybe she's doing it for him?

its obvious you meant a lot to her and her son, you must have been very good to them both. its very difficult to let go especially for a child so just give them a little more time, you will always be special to them so unless it was a very nasty break up they will probably keep those pics forever. be comforted by the knowledge that you made a positive difference in their lives.

Some people like to keep the memories... And her son would be interested in what happened in happier times...

It has absolutely nothing to do with you... believe me on that one. She only keeps them because her kid is in the pictures. NO OTHER REASON.
