first of all, you're dealing with an Islamic subculture and they have 3 techniques of execution. A firing squad is an honorable lack of existence and not in any respect an option for Saddam. the different 2 are for criminals. putting and stoning. Saddam were given the finest of both. As for it being public, it became not. It became achieved in a small inner most area. As for being taped and broadcast, it really is likewise area of their subculture. Their human beings does not have believed it befell except they said the putting or the tape of the putting. in basic terms save in ideas, different cultures have different guidelines and customs. What you may want to locate revolting the following, might want to be difficulty-loose position there.

More than likely Al Jazeera will cover it, some online news gatherers, and maybe Fox News. But just like the staged toppling of his statue, one wonders how much the media will treat it like a "must see" event. These kinds of things only exist for the public to exact revenge and to be given proof the evil-doer is, indeed, dead anyway. And for conservatives, it's a chance to puff out their chests and proclaim loudly for all to hear, "See, I told you we'd get him." But Hussein was a target only because he was convenient, a scapegoat for not getting Usama Bin Laden. As they say, "If it bleeds, it leads."

I doubt they will show it on television because it is too graphic, though I am sure most of you would agree that it should be shown. I'm not saying that because I am obsessed with watching someone die, but he made millions watch as he murdered innocent people. If it isn't shown on television, someone will have it on the internet. I hope they don't drag their feet on this one, they need to do it soon.

I think it is extremely unlikely, if not impossible, to see saddam being hanged live on TV, however, I daresay that there'll be one or two pictures of hanged saddam released.
