No they don't read your mind, so you're safe! Psychologists are humans like everyone else, and don't have supernatural powers like that.
Their education, experience and professional formation though, allows them to understand people better, makes them able to understand what you really mean when you say something, to understand how you feel from your body language, they can easily tell if you're lying, if you're uncomfortable with speaking about a subject, if you're too shy, and other personality traits.

I am a psychologist, but I don't read minds. No psychologists do that unless they are out with ulterior motives.
Depending on which field of psychology you are talking about, the psychologists work in different ways.
Generally, if you are talking about "reading" of feelings, cognitions and behaviour, you are probably referring to a clinical psychologist or one who is into cognitive therapy. We help you think through your thoughts, conduct thought experiments, to see if your beliefs and thinkings are maladaptive. If proven so, then we work together to help you cope better by working on changing your cognitions. For that matter, even some well-trained counsellors in cognitive-behaviour therapy can do this - does not need a psychologist to do that.

do u think you can interpret the way you feel and react at situations even if you know the situation better than a psychologist. so i feel that psychologist cannot read the mind they just theorise according to the psychological symptoms...it like shooting an arrow in air....

No, of course not! However, through lots of training and lots of experience a therapist may have a good idea of what to expect from people, but that's far from reading mind.
