The difference between greed and lust would be as follows: Greed is wanting more of something that doesn't belong to you. The difference with lust is wanting something you know nothing about and are curiouse about.

Hmm interesting question. Often or not greed and lust is known to be two of the seven deadliest sins. Lust would be having a self-absorbed desire for an object, person, or experience. On the other hand, a key component of the definition of greed is the obsession of accumulating material goods or even food.

While both suggest desire and coveting, Greed is more applicable to material, tangible things. Lust is more primal and instinctual as it relates to another human.
Both however may be as ill defined as LOVE often is. We can see, even here,,, EXAMPLE....."I love my Car"
It's hardly possible to strictly love an OBJECT.
Lust also suggests some emotions not strictly born of Greed, and has chemical consequences within the human body.
On a lighter note,,, Greed, might come into the context of "I WANT MORE" IE: "When you feed a monster you rarely satisfy it, but almost always cause it to be more hungry."
Lust also has its downsides,,,IE: Rejection, etc.
One more, then I need a refill. "There is no "money" in Poetry,, but too, there is NO Poetry, in Money"

Greed is defined as "excessive or rapacious desire, esp. for wealth or possessions". It generally refers to wanting more than your share of something, be it money, food, or knowledge.
Lust has a broader definition, but is mostly associated with the defintion "intense sexual desire or appetite". Unlike greed, lust usually involves one specific thing, be it sex, power or an object of value.
