A new flat screen not showing full light.?

the new flat screen not showing full light, also complain on "out of range" and went off.

How can i put the new flat screen on use, while complain of "out of range", also not showing light?

if is a brand new monitor, return it and claim your warranty, but out of range means did you connect your monitor right to your computer, or your video setting is to high usually it is 800x600 or1024x800
