I think it's because when you are watching tv you are usually waiting for commercials to be over and what not and when your waiting time goes by slower. However when your on a computer you can multi task and do other things to pass the time while you are waiting.

ESPECIALLY baseball,,,, while watching t.v you have to pay attention AND watch commercials,,, on the computer if your like me your just trying to find the key board too have fun besides t.v can be too intense at times
