It does not sound serious at all...sounds more like constipation/hemorrhoids which can cause the anus to bleed while passing a stool. Drink more water...not water-based fluids such as sodas or juices (except maybe apple juice); eat more raw vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, etc., and take in more fruits such as grapes, bananas, plums, and pears. NOTE: Tell your mum AND doctor the length of time you've been experiencing this problem. If the blood is a bright red--not darker red--then you most likely have hemorrhoids. Darker red blood can indicate bleeding further up your intestine.

If you took it 12 hours ago and nothing is happening, it is time for you to get to the hospital. Something is going on.
You asked for the step by step. Here it is:
-find out what is the present problem (could be obstruction due to simple constipation or due to disease, neoplasm, trauma etc.)
-based on that, what is the best treatment?
-find out what is the cause of the problem
-based on that, what is the best treatment
-find out how the treatment is working and modify if required.

well maybe if you would have told it had been going on for a year she might have reacted differently, you need to tell her and get yourself to a doctor, and what will happen? you will probably have to set up an appointment with a gastroentologist and they will put you to sleep with twilight and they will stick a camera up there and look around and see what is going on, it could be anything from hemorrhoids to polyps to a bleeding ulcer, either way you really need to get yourself to a doctor and get this taking care of immediately, you should have gone a long time ago but please do not procrastinate on this any longer

its sounds like hemorrhoids.. what hemorrhoids is...your intestinal is making an effort to push your stool.....causing your intestinal wall to tear.... best thing to do is drink plenty of water, and have a high intake in fiber.... hemorrhoids is not a dangerous thing but you do need to consults a physician or a colon-rectal surgeon... the physician will then decide if its best to have a colonoscopy or a hemorrhoid PPH... .best of luck

more than likely after asking you several questions they will probably want to get a scope of that area, making sure you don't have some underlying problem (kidney stones) gallbladder issues.don't worry you'll be OK TAKE CARE
