just got a new guitar, but un sure how to change the strings ... it is a flyod rose temolo, the wammy bar can be ben upwards, and downwards, so the bridge pivots.. the guy in the shop said to be careful not to mess it up when changing strings.

The link above is a good source. If you use it, take your time and be careful. I would recommend you find a shop that will do it for a small fee that will let you watch the first time. If they are good folks, they'll explain what they are doing as they do it. The FR requires precise tension between the strings and rear springs and when all is said and done, has to be level. if you find you don't use the upward travel on the FR, there are several products that block travel in that direction and make setup easier.
