Yes, there is a chance you could be pregnant - you dont say when during your cycle you had sex nor if your period is late...

Is your period late? If so, take a test.
If not, then you havent left it too late to visit the doctor & get the coil inserted so that it prevents pregnancy. It may be embarrasing to go to the doctor but since you obviously dont want a baby this will be the best option for you.

10 days after unprotected sex is early for sickness, so chances are the cause is worry - sickness will usually kick in about 2 weeks after your period was due, along with exhaustion, dizzyness & headaches. But not all women get all of any of these symptoms.

Early pregnancy symptoms are felt by very very few despite what some may think, & they arent felt until about 5-6 days before your period is due AT ALL because that is when the egg implants into the womb wall, before then it is drifting about in there & while multiplying & dividing & your body is unaware of its presence. The early pregnancy symptoms are, a spot of bleeding which soon stops, maybe some mild abdominal cramping, a strange *metalic* taste in the mouth & a lack of the usualy monthly PMS symptoms.

I hope this is a false alarm for you & that you will discuss getting a longterm contraceptive with your doctor as soon as possible & always use a comdom aswell.

I hope this helps
Good luck

You could be pregnant, but you can't tell until about 4 days before your period is due, which is when some of the early tests MAY work. However, you are understandably very stressed out by the situation which is likely to be the actual cause of your symptoms. The likelihood of you being pregnant is dependant on how many days since your period it was that you had sex. I hope you get the result you're looking for when you take a test and if you don't know the guy or his history, I recommend an STD test as undetected conditions can leave you infertile.

It all depends when you last period started - If it was 12-14 days before your encounter then - yes possibly. 10 Days is also not too soon to be seeing "symtoms". Best is to wait a week or two - you'll either have your period in the mean time. Also most home tests can only pick up a pregnancy once you,ve skipped a period - 10-12 after conception. so wait a week.. Or go see your doc - could be a STD.

don't think you would feel much just yet, but i was only 4 weeks when i found out i was expecting and in maternity clothes. the best thing you can do is get an early test. and it may be a good idea to get your self a smear. if you don't want a baby you could see your doctor about getting a coil. think they can be fit ed as emergency contraception up to about 3 weeks after intercourse. try not to worry too much as this will stop your period also if you look for every sign you maybe pregnant you will find things that aren't even there.

i feel for you but has no one ever told you about the morning after pill? you could have taken it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. Ive also noticed that people have been talking to you about STD'S and their right, its a too big of a risk. I doubt you are pregnant but by the sounds of things you need this stress to help you see sence. I suggest you go to your gp or family planning clinic when this is all over and have a good chat about contraception. Good luck sorry to have sounded so harsh xx

Every time you have unprotected sex you run the risk of getting pregnant. It is too late to do anything about it now. Time will tell. Apart from unwanted pregnancy you run the risk of catching any STD going and causing infertility as a result. Wait a while and do a test. Good luck.

I am no expert, but i think it might be all in your head due to paranoia of what happened. I f you feel that you might be pregnant, for your sake as well as the possible childs, i would get down to the doctor and decide what to do next.

The symptoms that you are having could be a result of stress, the not knowing .

I think next time you are thinking of having unprotected sex, you should consider the consequences of your actions. If oyu arent prepared for having a baby on your life, you should be a bit more responsible in the future.

I dont mean to sound harsh, and I just want you to know that one night of passion can lead to many years of consequences.

Hi, When I was prgnant I didnt see any signs for at least 4-5 weeks. But I think if you are concerned you should get a pregnancy test straight away. The sooner you know the better.

If it comes back positive you should also go an speak to someone at a family planning clinic or at your doctors.

I think all of your symptoms are stress and the guilt you feel since you said you shouldn't have. If you should come up late when its time to start, wait until you at least 10 days late then take a pregnancy test. Until then, calm down, take some deep breaths. Once you calm down, I bet your symptoms will also.

Go to mymonthlycycles.com they have a calender that can track your periods and ovulation. Most women ovulate 14 days after their cycle. A normal cycle last 5 days. I guess what I am saying is that the 10 days depend on when your last period was and when you ovulate.
