Where do I buy size 6 clothes from?

I just don’t know where to buy my trouser or jeans from. I am a size 6, waist 24 leg 30. The only shop I buy my trouser/jeans from is Topshop. I don’t like buying petite trouser/jeans as I wear heels and petites are slight short.

I do fit in kids wear age range 12-13 years old, but since I work in an office and I can’t not find smart trousers in kids range as they don’t have much variety.

I have shopped in Zara, Gap, Next , Oasis, Debenhams and many other shops but all their size 6 are too big for me.

It cost too much to trouser altered from the waist. I hope some one can help me I am really bored of all my clothes where do I go to buy my clothes.??

I don’t have an eating disorder; I just am one of them people who don’t put on weight.

I practically live on fish and chips and I’m really lucky in the sense I don’t have to watch my weight, but the side a effect is I’m limited when it comes to the world of fashion as I can’t find clothes that fit. (**,)

I know Warehouse do a size 6 - my friend buys from them. I believe Monsoon do a 6, as do Karen Millen (who size up small in my experience). Miss Selfridge are supposed to go to a size 4, though you may have to special order. And have you tried Reiss and Diesel? And what about Kookai, Whistles, Kew and Jigsaw?

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I have the opposite problem - I'm very tall and have a huge struggle trying to find trousers long enough.

Honestly, it depends on your baby. My kids have both been tall and skinny, and stayed in the sizes well past the suggested age range. So for my kids I would definitely have needed 3-6, or even 0-3 still. Other kids grow faster and are a lot chunkier, and could already be in 9-12 month or bigger sizes at 6 months old. I guess I would suggest getting 6-9 month stuff - at least then if it's too big there's a good chance he'll be able to use some of it next spring or summer. If the time comes and the things you've bought don't fit - just go buy a pack of onsies. You can find those any time of year, and that's all a baby really needs in warm weather anyway.

Try different sizes at shops that you like. Don't get caught up in the number -- the size # varies greatly from label to label. I've had good luck size-wise at the Gap (sz 4 -- I'm a 6 everywhere else). Unfortunately I don't think the Gap slacks are made well -- the seams come apart.

I've also had great luck with Ann Taylor Loft - the cut of their clothes is slimmer.

Both of these shops also have different lengths for their pants -- short/regular/long -- I love that -- even though I am only 5'1", I don't like the cut of petite pants, but I love the short cut that these stores have.

Its a nightmare isnt it!! I also have the same problem and i hate those ignorant jealous people that automatically assume we have eating disorders!! Like you i also eat like a horse and just dont seem to gain weight!!

H and M are really good for jeans coz like topshop they come in waiste sizes rather than just a standard 6 or 8,they also do tops that come in size extra small which are a really good fit!!
Miss selfridge do a size 6 but i find even they come up a bit big!!
You could try some on line catolouges like www.choiceforyou.co.uk OR www.additionsdirect.co.uk oh and next do a size 6 www.next.co.uk!!
good luck x also try river island !! x

I have exactly the same problem as you. Try Dorothy Perkins, M&S, Matalan. I find some size 8's are almost like other shops size 6's, so don't be hung up on the size label, it's worth trying on in case they fit.

As far as leg length goes, if you go for cropped trousers, you won't have a problem with the length. I wear mine with long leather boots and they look fab.

Good luck. I don't have an eating disorder either. People who insinuate this are either ignorant or jealous.

Try Kookai - they tend to cater for smaller women - also check out the petite ranges in different stores.

Also might be worth trying Gap again - I was in there the other day and it seemed ALL the jeans were a size 2 or 4 - not sure what that's all about.

H&M would probably be good for you too

Happy shopping!

I totally know the feeling other places that sell size 6 are river island and next but the thing is you're still going t have the same problem. What i do is i buy the size then alter it myself bcos thats the only way and then you can get it to fit the way you want it.
