A bit flew off and hit me in the eye when I was tinkering with it as you can see. I can't get it to stay on now and its not been the same since. I'd hate to think its broken

My hamster escaped in the livingroom after i put her in a large plastic box to live... now my ntl box won't switch on... I haven't got round to looking behind it.... if I dare. So the hamster did something to it and now I think its broken!

well I gave it a few experimental whacks with a hammer followed by a thorough shaking. but all it ever did was rattle alarmingly.
