They're everywhere! You can literally walk along any main street in a town and see at least ONE shop with "100円", or "one coin!" signs on the windows!

Daiso is probably the best known, and here's their list of shops in English ... don't know that it's got them ALL though, there are 610 stores in the Kanto region!

There are also 100円 stores in many department stores, so you'll come across them all over the place!

Vikayil's top link has a link to can do ... I've seen a couple of those about too, and they're quite good! Many 100円 shops don't even have a name - just the price!

If you like to shop at Daiso the 100yen shop like i do, you can find Daiso at Harajuku as well as Akihabara in tokyo.

There's at least one at every train station. Ask the conductor at the ticket gate and he'll point you in the right direction.
