We won't, too much is happening that points to our final end. The ozone for one, there will be a lot of fuss about this in the next 20 years. The recent advancement of scientific warfare is also in the wrong hands, the whole population of earth could be gone within an hour, this is the first century that this is possible for from human inventions. No other time in the past have we had the ability to destroy all human life in one hour. Also, the people in power right now, they aren't all good people, a many of them don't care what happens to the common man. This attitude could destroy us, and it probably will. All we can do is try to reconginze these things before it's too late, if we turn away it will get worse. I think for us to survive as long as we have that there must be a God out there watching us. Maybe he is the only answer that will save us.

Our survival is almost guaranteed over the next 100 years. Our major issue in this time frame is the way global warming has effected not only fresh water supplies, but also the change of disease spread. Both of these issues are being worked on actively now.
One hundred years is not a problem. By 200 years, we will have a serious crowding issue, in 1000 years we will have almost used up the planets oil supplies but by that stage it won't matter because the amount of damage we are doing to the world today will by that stage be felt and our planet will no longer be a home for humanity. Space is not only our next frontier, it is our species only hope.

How to survive the next 1000 to 2,500 years is the more relevant and problematical question. I'd bet: no, but, since I'll not be around to collect, you'll just have to settle on my opinion.

Apparently if we survive the next hun, we have it made! And there is a high probability of it.
I'd say more, but it was all said in this link. And said a lot. I don't think you will get 25,000 answers this time.
