My boyfriend an I love eachother very much, but his father hates me and will pursue to cut all contact with his son if we were to stay together... Unfortunately he really needs his father and I understand that. How can we make this work...??? Please give advice.

The only way is to try to make his dad likes you. Bring him his favourite food or delicacies when you visit. Talk to him about his favourite subjects. He likes football? Watch a few matches and next time you see him, discuss it with him. Ask your bf what his dad don't like about you. Is it your style of dressing? Is it your piercings? Change it. Not asking you to change who you are, just tone it down a bit at least in front of his parents. Make the effort. Your bf will be impressed and his dad would gradually accept you. Trust me. That is what my brother-in-law did and they are now happily married for ten years now.

why does he dislike you so much? sounds to me like it ain't took the time to get to know you. I think you, your boyfriend and his dad need to sit down and talk about this and tell his dad how you feel about his son. has it will come between you and your boyfriend and you don't want that I think his dad needs to get over it has long has his son is happy then that is all that should matter to him

i would suggest that you two can stay together, and you show as much concern to his father just as he does- even if at first he resists and show continuos hatred towards you.

Man your in one of the toughest positions there are. The toughest!! Cause you definately dont want him to choose you over his dad, he might end up regretting it and thatll be bad for you. I suggest you do everything in your power to get his dad to like you. Sh it have a family get together with him and his parents and yours and your parents and talk it out. Dont be scared either, just do it. Get his dad to like you and your on EZ street.
