This is not a hypothetical question.....lets be real here....no one knows who you are. You can admit it. I mean really the guy has no creativity...he is not a problem solver.he has no critical thinking skills..he is stuborn.....he relies on a guy knicknamed "turdblossom" to make his decisions.....He has made a lot of really really bad decisions. Lets get it all out and we can all feel better about this...admit it...no one will hold it against you!!!! HE IS NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED! I mean what was that "Mission Accomplished" thing all about on the Aircraft carrier? Basically the whole world "outside of the red states" thinks he is a real idiot!!!

Bryan.....I'm an independant too and your monologue is very valiant but please...dude...lets get real heres a little bit of truth and if you reall have an IQ that high you will WAKE UP!
In a report published in July 2001 , the Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania detailed its findings of a four month study of the intelligence quotient of President George W. Bush. Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published its research to the education community on each new president, which includes the famous "IQ" report among others.
The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points:
147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald Ford (R)
175 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald Reagan (R)
098 George HW Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
091 George W. Bush (R)
Face Reality!!! Nice try!

LAREDDAWG....you could have done a little bit better than that...c'mon man....I'm not namecalling...I AM BEING REAL!
I AM DEALING WITH THINGS YOU FIND HARD TO ACCEPT F A C T S!
Heres another tidbit of what we call a fact:
"All the Presidents prior to George W. Bush had a least one book under their belt, and most had written several white papers during their education or early careers. Not so with President Bush," Dr. Lovenstein said. "He has no published works or writings, so in many ways that made it more difficult to arrive at an assessment. We had to rely more heavily on transcripts of his unscripted public speaking."
Can you deny this is a fact? Bush was a C student also who got into Yale because his daddy was an alumni!
His use of cocaine and alcohol probably accounts for the president's loss of 10% of his potential IQ. Bush's father had an IQ of 99 and W has an IQ of 91. Speed makes people stupider. Alcohol makes people crazy, lazy, and stupid.

Bryan ...again...you are a gluton for punishment...Here is a flaw in your 165 IQ logic going forward:
"I live in a red state. I voted for the President twice (Brave man to admit this...you should only say "the first time" from now on OK!) and I have an IQ of 165. I think that pretty well blows your theory right out the door."
So let me get this straight.(assuming you do have an IQ of 165)...You really believe that because YOU are the only one who was blessed with good genes your intelligence quotient can offset millions of rednecks? Seriously what kind of logic is that? C'mon man the "red states" analogy was just a bit of humor anyway...that still doesn't change the fact that W is really not too clever and to answer your other question how does a guy rise to president twice...UM c'mon if you were so smart you would know the answer to this...is it not obvious ..His Daddy and lots of republican money!!!

Bryan....and the other misguided blind sheep....the people have spoken....BTW I really am not as partisan as I sound...Give me a president like Reagan to vote for again who was a REAL REPUBLICAN...not the NEOCON variety that has hijacked the GOP (which I respected years ago) and I will vote and support them....BUT lets all get real GWB is a bufoon, a loser and a mental midget....he probably doesn't even make the decisions he is credited for!

Go Man GO..... These people are in denial. Don't expect this question to last long here though. Everytime I ask a question about that cretin buffoon, it gets removed.
He is a major representation of 35% of all Americans. The Inbred variety.

What Rubbish. Please Tell me How many Yale Degrees do you have. All this name calling on both sides is tiring. I think questions like this are more reflective of the askers maturity and intelligence than anything else. which brings to mind Ben Franklin's famous quote
" It is better to keep quiet and let people think you are a fool than open ones mouth and prove them right"
People THINK before you speak! I don't ask that you agree this is America you are entitle to your own opinion but please at least express some educated coherence in expressing your self and stop acting like two yr. olds arguing.
Bryan - I am a fan already a coherent argument using logic a facts. I won't say if i agree but at least you expressed civility avoided cheap labels and made a cogent argument

Rhetoric vs Reality
By now you've all seen the Democrats' campaign slogan:
"A New Direction For America -- Vote DEMOCRATIC!"*
Let's analyze this empty and misleading promise.
The stock market is at a new all-time high and America's 401K's are back. A new direction from there means what??
Unemployment is at 25 year lows. A new direction from there means what??
Oil prices are plummeting. A new direction from there means what??
Taxes are at 20 year lows. A new direction from there means what??
Federal tax revenues are at all-time highs. A new direction from there means what??
The Federal deficit is down almost 50%, just as predicted over last year. A new direction from there means what??
Home valuations are up 200% over the past 3.5 years. A new direction from there means what??
Inflation is in check, hovering at 20 year lows. A new direction from there means what??
Not a single terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11/01. A new direction from there means what??
Osama bin Laden is living under a rock in a dark cave, having not surfaced in years, if he's alive at all, while 95% of Al Queda's top dogs are either dead or in custody, cooperating with US Intel. A new direction from there means what??
Several major terrorist attacks already thwarted by US and British Intel, including the recent planned attack involving 10 Jumbo Jets being exploded in mid-air over major US cities in order to celebrate the anniversary of the 9/11/01 attacks A new direction from there means what??
Just as Bush had planned and foretold us of on a number of occasions, Iraq was to be made "ground zero" for the war on terrorism -- and just as Bush said they would, terrorist cells from all over the region are alighting the shadows of their hiding places and flooding into Iraq in order to get their faces blown off by US Marines rather than boarding planes and heading to the United States to wage war on us here. A new direction from there means what??
Moreover, bear in mind that all of the above occurred in the face of the 1999 tech crash, the epidemic of corporate scandals throughout the 90's, and the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks on NYC years in the planning which collectively sucked 24 trillions dollars and 7.8 million jobs out of the US economy even before G. W. Bush had time to unpack his suitcases in the White House.
It's easy for the Democrats to attempt to discredit, disgrace and defame our commander in chief, George W. Bush -- that's what they do. What's not so easy for them to do is to refute irrefutable facts, no matter how they might try.
Do yourself and this country of ours a favor and don't be a mindless sheep or a blind liberal lap dog, bent on hate and blame-shifting simply in the name of hate and blame-shifting. Take heed of reality, use your head and cast your vote wisely in the upcoming elections. The stakes are far too high today, as America's very future, and yes, even its very survival is now at stake.

i'm not going to delve into the IQ of presidents, past and present...IQ is only one measure, and not entirely reliable...but i WILL say that i agree with forrest gump's mama...stupid is as stupid does...and bush has been the poster child for that...just listen to him for about a minute, and look at his decisions and performance...the inescapable conclusion is that he's dumber than a box or rocks

Uhmm... I wonder. I have some relatives that voted for him in both elections. They thought voting for Kerry would be sponsoring the death of many innocents (they are pro-life). Uhmm... I wonder what value they placed on the lives of all that have died in Iraq? I haven't asked them how they feel about him now. But I know that if they still support him, then they are as much idiots as Bush himself!

I am an independent and I do not think the President is a moron. I do not agree with some policies, but I do agree with others. This type of question is exactly why I won't vote for Democrats at the national level this year. This hate rhetoric is too present in the Democratic party these days. I am not looking for indictments and slander from the people I am voting for. What I am looking for substantive debate on issues and workable proposals for solutions. The Democrats have failed miserably in this area. Their whole platform is based on undoing everything that has been done. Some things need to be undone, others don't. I think the Democrats are going to be shocked after today once again. They may win some seats, but it will not be the overwhelming win they have been predicting. So get ready to scream for another 2 years about how the election was once again stolen, or how stupid people are because to date that policy has worked so well and won your side so many elections.
TrueSoul: People would not vote for John Kerry because he appeared weak on security, an important issue with Americans. Statements like I voted for it before I voted against it were a credibility issue, but the biggest mistake was stating he had a plan, but then saying he couldn't tell us unless we voted him into office. Given recent statements Mr. Kerry has made the people made the right choice.
cantcu: I live in a red state. I voted for the President twice and I have an IQ of 165. I think that pretty well blows your theory right out the door. It is another good example of why Dems lose though. In order to explain the failings of your own party you are unwilling to examine real issues and choose instead to call the other side stupid. Yep you are definitely the type of person I would want in power.
If you want to talk facts let's start with this one. That study has been completely discredited numerous times. The methodology used was completely flawed. I will not question your intelligence because I think those types of attacks are completely useless. Do you honestly believe that any man could rise to the level of President and be as stupid as Democrats try to paint Mr. Bush? The most amusing ones are the people who will call him completely stupid and then give him credit for orchestrating vast conspiracies against the people's interests. I support free speech and the right to dissent against that which you don't like, but attacks against people occur as the last resort of the desperate, If you want to debate Mr. Bush' record on the issues their is ample ground to for you stand on, but just calling the man stupid only clouds reasonable debate with useless rhetoric.
Awww is that supposed to hurt my feelings? Ok let's get one fact straight. I am not ashamed of who I voted for and your opinions about who I vote for do not concern me in the least. The day they do I will get a lobotomy and start voting a straight Democrat ticket. The fact that you are willing to deem the majority of people who don't agree with you rednecks betrays an elitist attitude which will never be taken seriously by reasonable people. Instead what it does is offend. Please continue to insult everyone who doesn't agree with you though because it will definitely ensure that people who share your dim opinions of others will remain out of power. Until Democrats and their supporters return to the issues and abandon character assassination as a tool they can expect more losses at the polls. Integrity, character and morals do matter to voters whether you choose to believe it or not.
Here's an adage for you.
Great minds discuss ideas
Average minds discuss events
Weak minds discuss people
Which category do you fall into?
Okay I guess we now know which category you fall into...Thanks for defining that for us. You will never be taken seriously as long as you denigrate everyone who doesn't agree with you. Intelligent debate is about sharing ideas, but I seriously doubt you can understand this concept given the fact your whole premise is built on bashing others. It doesn't matter if you agree with the positions of others, what matters is respect for people's right to choose for themselves. I challenged your incorrect facts based on discredited studies and you call me a blind sheep. The only one who is blind here is you. Not because of your opinion of the president, but rather because of your dim view of others simply because they do not agree with you. You are nowhere close to a Reagan conservative. Reaganites are very positive people.
