Take a Fabric Softener Sheet, and lightly dust it over the clothing article, that has the static. It will instantly go away, this also works good, on those days when your hair, &/or your pets hair is static.

Hi Bambino use 1/4 cup vinegar in the wash cycle and 1/4 cup vinegar in the rinse cycle when your going your laundry.
Softeners and dryer sheets are a lovely smell and all that I know and improve the static cling factor (B U T) research has it that they emit harmful chemicals fumes and this can cause respiratory track infections in adults or children just to make you aware of this fact.
On dry clothes use the (Metal Hinger Trick) I recommend it and it does work.
Put on the garment simply reach the metal hinger up underneath the shirt/ top etc., and brush from top to bottom - if pants slacks etc., reach up the legs and brush longways with the pointed end side down.
See more at the link below please it is very informative and beneficial that you read this!!

>> If you're already wearing the clothes that suffer from static cling, wet your hands slightly and brush them over the surface of your clothing.
>>Do not dry clothes quite completely. The small amount of remaining moisture keeps static cling from getting a foothold.; overdrying is the No. 1 cause of static.
>>For really stubborn clothing--like nylon slips that bunch up underneath your skirt--rub a fabric-softener sheet on the surface of the fabric. This coats it with a waxy antistatic film.â¥

Either dry the clothes with a fabric softening sheet or at least rub the sheet on your clothes. There are products available that can help such as Static Guard.

take two metal coat hangers. Put one inside the garment and run the other one over the outside. It will discharge the static.

If fabric softeners aren't working you can by a can spray for this that works well for those fast fixes. Look in the electrical department of Wal-Mart.
