In this movie, the man can put his hand through glass and solid objects, put gets older everytime he does it. There's a scene when he's looking through a shop window and reaches through it. Does anyone remember this film and the name of it?

the movie is called 4D MAN

4D Man (1959)
Two brothers, scientists Scott and Tony Nelson, develop an amplifier which enables a person to enter a 4th dimensional state, allowing him to pass through any object. Scott experiments on himself and discovers that each time he passes through something he ages rapidly. He begins killing people, sucking out their life energies and regaining his youth as a result. It falls to Tony and Scott's girlfriend, Linda, to try to put a stop to his murderous rampage.

YES! That's "The 4-D Man" starring Robert Stack(I think!). I haven't seen it in years, but I remember a scene where he puts his hand through a solid piece of steel, and as he dies at the end, he falls and gets trapped inside the wall. Glad you reminded me of it!

David P. is first with the correct response only it starred Robert Lansing not Robert Stack. Patty Duke played his young daughter in the film.
