Same difference

Ok, Erase permanently deletes a file from your system. If you use a program like Eraser, it will physically over write the file with random bits of information which then makes it impossible to recover the file.

Delete: Normally places the file in the windows recycle bin - This however does not actually delete the file completely until you 'EMPTY' the recycle bin. Once you empty it windows marks the file as deletable IF it needs to use the space. Note that these files can still be recovered using specialised software.

Remove: Typical term used for REMOVING software from your computer using it's associated un-installer.

In reality many people use these terms for the same thing. It also differs on different operating systems - EG Linux (which deletes a file properly as soon as you put it in the bin).

I don't really think there is much difference between them. In computer terms, most of the people use delete or remove. But in general erase is used.

Remove completely removes a file from the system. Delete sends file to the recycle bin or deleted folder. Erase deallocates the meta data.

Erase = Rubbed off, Usually done to make corrections.
Remove = Disposing unwanted things from memory.
Delete = Moving to recycle bin, can retrive later if you want.

Erase : did not have a easy way to get it back

Remove : move things to other places

Delete : move item to the recycle bin, and possible to get it back even if you empty the bin.
