When the fundies turn the people at a NY bus stop into pink and red mist, these dems will realize that terrorism is all to real............
Pelosi, Harman, and Reid won't seem so great then when it's discovered that the NSA progam could've prevented it.

I am an independent. I am voting for some Democrats and Independents in local and state elections, but voting strictly Republican at the national level. I do believe the Republicans have some issues, however the Democrats have done nothing but condemn and slander at every turn. What I want is more responsiveness and dedication to positive change. This is not going to come from the Democrats, their entire platform is based on taking power back, not what is best for the country. The Democrats have also seriously offended me over the lasts several months running around proclaiming their staggering victory as though no one who votes matters. It's an arrogant position and shows that their opinion of the American people hasn't changed since the last time they had power.
lykovetos: Americans have great pride in their country. Your opinions are the exact reason why most Americans do not care what the rest of the world thinks of us. Want Americans to have respect for Europe? Mind the affairs of your own country and let us mind ours. Unless we have invaded your country, then you might have a legitimate right to complain.
Hillaryforpresident:
No new terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11/2001
Unemployment 4.4%
Inflation 3%
GDP is up
Stock Market is at record highs
Taxes are lower
Most people I know make more money now than they did 5 years.
Many people I know now own their own houses at some of the best interest rates in more than 30 years.
We are finally seeing some movement on the illegal immigration problems in this country.
Are there problems which still need to be addressed? Absolutely! The deficit is high and spending is out of control. Social Security is going broke and is still not being properly addressed. We are engaged in a war on multiple fronts and the list goes on. No government will ever represent the will of all people. You can believe the country is in bad shape if you wish, but the facts do not support your conclusions for many Americans.

I voted Democrat in the last several elections and yet Republicans still held power and I have regretted that not enough people voted in those elections and those who did vote Republican basically voted for corruption, scandals, and costly conflicts.I am voting for a change. And a new party in power is the only way to have some change.

You didn't mention exactly what those regrets are exactly. But what's currently happening in the Middle East won't do any good to the US in the long term. Other powers like Russia, China and God forbid, Iran would take the lead. But I guess Bush has some popularity due to his domestic conservative views.

I never vote Republican or Democrat. I do some research and vote for the crook who will steal the least money from me while screwing the country/state/county the least.

How can you say that? Jump off your high horse and look at the state the country is in...our international reputation...etc. It all got this way under Republican control. It sure wasnt like this when clinton was pres and the dems controlled everything. We were actually the prospering country that we are supposed to be...
i will be voting democratic...and hopefully america will see some well deserved change.

I will be voting straight democrat. How can anyone look at the state this country is in and even think about voting republican? This blind allegiance that republicans seem to have in our moronic president and his legion of butt kissers in the congress is insane.

I would agree.....
I sincerely hope that both of us are wrong. I hope that the more Conservative Democrats hold their party to task.
I'm not going to hold my breath though.
Your comments are almost comical lykovetos. I wouldn't be worrying so much about the pride we do or do not have over here in America. If I were you I would start learning to speak Arabic. Your own countries identities over there in Europe are in deeper jeopardy than anything happening on our side of the pond.
