Yeah I have heard that bananas are high in calories and makes u put on lots of weight.Infact ppl who r on slimmer side are asked to take bananas with milk to gain weight.Though this fruit is very nutritious ,it is also high in calories. So u can eat it once in a way but not too much.Eating everyday wil surely put on weight.U can substitute bananas with other fruits.Have citrus fruits. They too are very nutritious but wont make u put on weight. In general eat lots of vegetables, green leaves, fruits ,milk and 8glasses of water and yeah add on some protein intake too.Best of luck for ur pregnancy.

Bananas are a great food to eat when you are pregnant. You need to put on weight when you are pregnant so that you have stores to help you through the early months of breastfeeding. A diet for pregnancy is much the same as any other time - plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, grains and vegetable or animal protein. Drink lots of water and have exercise every day, even if it is only a walk. If you have a good variety of food you will find that 1 or 2 bananas a day is enough. Good luck with your baby!

yes it is true, but if you exercise during pregnancy it should be all right. Remember all healthy foods are good for you, and it could be the potassism that you are craving.
You need to keep a balanced diet, it is really important. If your diet is healthy stuff then your weight won't be too much of a problem.

I have never heard that but like they always say too much of anything is not good! If you are worried about it ask your doc. and maybe cut down on the number of bananas your eating in a day...

banannas are full of carbs so if that doesn't get used up as energy then it will store on the body as fat. This is what i have learnt
