First I wanted to be a Forensic photographer. My teacher freaked me out..
Then I studied Dental Hygiene... Grossed me out... Then I studied Sociology, too many issues.
Now I home-school my child.. More rewarding, makes me happy:))

Way to go Heather. Best of luck to you. Believe it or not I wanted to be a mortician. When I was 13 a friend of mine was killed in a motorcycle accident and whoever did his makeup did a terrible job. He didn't even look like the person I knew. That was when I decided I wanted to become a mortician so that I could make people who had passed look the way they would want to be remembered.
Unfortunately I didn't follow through with it. I found out that the schooling I needed was out of state and I was too stubborn to move. Looking back now I wish I would have.
Oh well. Life is far too short for "would have", "could have" and "should have". Great question by the way.

I wanted to be an archaeologist.
But.. I had my son when I was quite young, and because archaeology includes a lot of travelling, I couldn't do it.
I'm an Estate Agent now, but I do a lot of archaeology projects in my spare time, and because the area I live in has a really rich history, I go out at weekends looking for fossils, or artefacts (theres everything from pre-historic to Roman here!)
;-) Best of both worlds!

I wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals. Then I decided I wouldn't be able to handle seeing animals suffer, so I decided I wanted to become a doctor (human). I did not become either.
Congratulations and good luck with the med school!!

In elementary school i had the best and sweetest teacher ever.
She was the best ever.
I decided there and then to become a teacher like her:equal her qualities:no discrimination,no dislikes, open minded, wiling to listen, being not judge mental etc,
So I got to become one.
I am very honest, speak my mind, but allow others and my students to do the same:all i want i respect towards me and give that back the same way.Being disrespectful gets you nowhere.
Now i am retired cause of illness:i miss my students and teaching a lot.
but i followed my dream and desire.
TX for asking.Brings back the most lovely memories.
have a nice day:Rob,Advise:don't give up on dreams .Make them come true for you,

First I wanted to be a professional ice skater, but my mum said who would pay you? so I kinda ditched that. Then I wanted to be a philosopher but I couldn't be bothered going to school, so that never happened. Then I wanted to be a graphic designer and I did it for a while, it was fun. Now I'm a broadcaster on community radio, I don't get paid a cent but I'm loving it.

G.I Jane or a hired assassin! Nope, didn't happen for me because choice #2 would land me in jail ....and for choice #1, I got married too young and had kids so I never went military where I could have legally assassinated people!
