if your parka jacket is above the waist and not old school it should look fine of course the whole of the outfit is what will determine if it looks good or not

Anything goes nowadays! Its more a question of what YOU feel is ok, not what others think surely? If you are comfortable, warm and feel you look good, then wear your outfit with pride! Make the most of being young.... i could hardly wear that at age 49!
