i don't know why i felt that way.. For me we're still young to be engaged. I feel like i;m tied to him forever.

You don't have to say yes to marrying him if you are not ready. Or if you believe this is the man you want to spend the rest of your life with you could try a long engagement.
If you are feeling tied to him and are not happy then you need to get out of the relationship now and let him get on with his life.

Of Course you would be tied to him forever and I feel strongly that you should consider what YOUR feelings are telling you about such a lasting commitment at this time. There is nothing wrong with telling him you just are not ready for this big step. Most of the time we must listen to our own Inner Wisdom and we will know the answer. Good luck!

Well, with marriage you kinda would be tied to him forever. If you think you are too young to be engaged then talk to him about it. I have no idea how old you are, but if you really think you're too young then you shouldn't do it. It's natural for you to be afraid, even if you didn't think you're too young. Engagement is a big step. I hope it works out.

Sit down and think real hard whether you want to lead your life with him. if the answer is maybe, then ditch it. if the answer is yes, then ditch it. the answer must be an absolutely completely enthusiastic, YES. otherwise, screw it. whats the point in all this tension? If you love him, then this doubt is unnecessary. and if you are just in that "he is nice ya" mode, then well, your life is your problem. and the engagement is a farce.

I felt the same when I was 21, but I didn't' speak up and still got married, then divorced a year later. don't do it. if he truly loves you, he will wait until you are ready and understand if you are not. if he REALLY gets mad, this is a good sign to dump him and find somebody else.it doesn't matter how old you are, this applies to all ages.

You have to tell him how you feel, tell him that you arent ready yet. Getting married is a huge commitement. Its for life, so you have to know if you are ready to do such a thing

for alot of girls/women its normal to feel unhappy, but then again you didnt say how old you are...just go sit down and ask your self how you really feel about him, what about him makes you happy and why
