I have just finished 36 hours of vommiting - VERY nasty bug, never took the pill at all as nothing staying down, not sure what to do now. Do I just start taking it as normal?

Obviously you understand the consequences of not being protected if you miss 2 days pill. For me, the question is, do you want to get your period early? If you don't, start taking it, if you don't mind then stop for 7 days and start taking it again. And yes, don't forget to use condoms or maybe you're too ill for sex anyway! firstly i hope you are well and secondly, ive been on mycrogynon for almost 2 years, if ever i miss 1 or 2 pills then i complete the pack as normal and then continue with another pack as normal simply missing out the week break. ive never had any problems with it, but however im not sure what to do if more than 2 was missed. good luck, but if you feel unsure visit your GP

I was on mycrogynon for years. if that had happened to me (and even now that i'm on a different pill) i'd take my weeks break now then decide whether you start a new pack straight away and go straight thru (which would be my choice) or take your break as normal.
that's just my opinion of course! if you start taking it again now chances are you'll get your period anyway as you've missed two already.

Personally I would wait and start the next packet on the first day of your next period. Check the info in you packet of pills, but you should be safe to have sex from that day.
Don't forget to take extra precautions if you feel well enough to have sex in the meantime.

Yes. But use condoms for the next 7 days (assume you have been too ill to need them!) as the pill won't be effective for that time. May get a breakthrough bleed- if your body has any energy left to give you one- but don't worry. Hope you feel better.
