I bought some books at a yard sale for my little boy, rare books that I couldn't pass up. But I don't want him to touch them until I get them cleaned up. Seems like I read in a magazine years ago about putting them in a microwave, anyone heard of this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe disinfecting wipes would do the job.

Although labor intensive. But I really can't think of any easy way to clean all the pages.

Go to ask Heloise, if anyon should have the answer she should.
