Heard that there was war between them in the past, so they don't get along well. Is this truth? Thank. Want to know more about history.

No, not really, unless they're the second generation or a third culture kid. ie: Asian Americans. Koreans and Japanese have a long grudge since the making of Korea. In fact, Korea used to be part of Japan. You can see their aggressiveness against each other in sports, media, etc, but the new generation may get along better.

Same thing with the Chinese, and other Asians, because of history. If you read some documents and looked at the historical pictures from WWII, you'll see the true brutality of the Japanese. Where ever they went they raped the women, killed their children, behead the fathers, burnt down their homes, and massacred thousands of innocent civilians and prisoners of war.

Everyone hates the Japanese because of what they did in WWII. The bad thing is the fact that the Japanese totally edited out all of the bad things they did in the war from their textbooks. The current generation growing up really has no idea about what happened in WWII.

Just like China and Taiwan now.
