I heard of a literary genre that they call "erotic literature", a collection of short stories and poems that I personally call vague and superficial, what do you think, do you call it literature?

That's part of the beauty of literature: it's subjective. The individual gets to decide if it's "literature" or not.

In the purest sense of the word, yes it is literature, but then so are travel brochures. It just isn't good literature.
