I'm just getting started, I usually spend way to much, but this year I'm cutting back. It has gotten way out of hand. I think everyone has lost what the meaning is.

Don't celebrate x-mas or buy presents any more. But I give a few people small gifts the beginning of December or early January. Call them "appreciation gifts" or "new years gifts".

Almost done..we have about 18 people to buy for (big families) but we also budget it out over the entire year..around 300 bucks total for others & no limits on our own exchange (my ol man & me)

i havent even started. ill probably end up spending over 500 00 by the time its over. this christmas shopping deal is very stressful to me.

I haven't started it yet. I usually buy it with my husband so it's kind of big...and we have many people, like 12 people so it will cost a lot. Uhm...$160 for ourselves, $100 for my husband's parents...$50 for our best friend...$10 - 50 for other people.

I have not even got a dress for myself! First I spend on me , then how much I spend on presents depends on how much remains & how much dad is gonna lend to me.
