The Orca would certainly win with its ability to breach and sound. The habitat does vary a little...Great Whites prefer cooler water but Orcas do well in most temperatures so that is not a contributing factor. Great Whites prefer shallower water (from water a few feet deep to about 15 fathoms, but Orcas prefer deeper water.Great Whites have a bite pressure better than Orcas. However it is unlikely that such a clash of the titans would occur, as Orcas normally travel fearlessly in a pod and the shark would be outnumbered. While they co-exist in the same range, they give each other a wide berth. A few washed up or recovered carcasses of the orcas have had bite marks from sharks but usually it is too late to know if the bite was pre-mortem or post-mortem

Difficult! The whale has the size but the shark has the teeth! It could well be a close fought match!!!

I think it depends on if the shark is in a duo or not. Many Gw sharks have been documented attacking in pairs, but the orcas often do the same or in packs. My vote is for the shark though cause i love sharks. :) but i think that my absolute favorite(moray eels) would be there to pick up the leftovers :P

It depends on the circumstances, the age, gender, size, helath of each animal. It's not something you can definetly predict.

Oh, to the person who said orcas would have an advantage due their ability to breach - GW sharks can breach as well ;-)
