Is it a good idea to give a pet ground squirrel 'biscuits' that are meant to help dog's dental hygeine? Would it harm him?

Squirrel teeth grow constantly and need to be worn down or they get to the point where the animal can no longer eat and starves to death.

Primate biscuits (available at any well-stocked pet store) will help. If you can get the squirrel to gnaw on a cuttlebone, so much the better.

Why, why on Earth do you have a "pet" squirrel? They are wild animals, not domesticated pets. I sincerely hope you know what you're doing.
