Yes, and witnessed. The time span was about a week. I had a dream like I was floating above a good friend of mine I had not seen in years and his face was all bloody and he was laying there like he was dead, I saw little more than his face as the edges were blurry. It really concerned me, and I was thinking about it when I woke up the next morning but had no way to contact my friend because I had lost contact with him. I was staying with my aunt at the time who asked me what was wrong, saying : "what is wrong you look like you saw a ghost". I preceeded to tell her about the dream about my friend and told her his name and some stuff about him since she had never met him, but I said it was probably nothing just a silly nightmare, so she would not be concerned. But inside it did not feel that way, it felt more real than like a dream so I did the only thing I could do and prayed for him. Well fast forward about a week later my Aunt calls from the kitchen , that someone was on the phone for me,when I went to answer it , it was my friend that I had seen like dead in my dream , my aunt was in the kitchen hearing the whole conversation and while he proceeded to tell me that a week earlier that he had been in a near fatal car-crash and unconscious and in a coma, for days, he had cracked his skull and was still in the hospital. He had used his down time to call around and track me down. Well cold chills went up and down my spine and now my aunt was looking at me like she was looking at ghost. So almost to the day I had somehow seen my friend nearly 2000 miles away with distance viewing or lucid dreaming or something, the doctors said he was lucky he lived, I think it was more than luck and that the prayers may have helped, who knows , I do not know what other purpose me seeing such a thing could have been for.

I have had number of incidences like this but this one was the most unusual to me

Sure, that has happened to me a couple of times. My family says it's because once I have dreamed it, I make it come true. But I don't think it is like that. I really think that sometimes dreams can tell one possible future. It may not be set in stone that it is going to happen. But it might be one possible outcome of a situation.

I've dreamt of things and it would happen like a few hours or two days later but when my mom was pregnant with me, she'd sleep and wake up and her dream would come true. My husband has this too. These are called visions when you can see the future.

Yes, that happens sometimes. Sometimes the dream is way before it becomes actual fact. That's way confusing sometimes, because I mix between what happened in reality, and what didn't happen.
