The first time Dallas's special teams stopped to look at the guy who was waving for a fair catch instead of running behind him to down the ball, I thought, "Okay, stupid mistake. Parcells will fix it." But instead, the coaching staff didn't fix it. The Cowboys kept doing the same stupid shizzle all game and missed at least 2 great opportunities to pin the Skins inside their 5. Then there were the 153 penalty yards, which are the most I've ever seen. T.O. isn't concentrating at all and has dropped at least 6 passes this season -- including 2 that were crucial in the last 2 games. Where was the LE on that blocked field goal? And that face mask!

Are the Cowboys (including T.O.) so stupid and lazy that good coaching isn't enough? Is Bill Parcells not doing the job he's capable of doing? Or both?

So far, the Giants and Eagles are both playing better and look like they have a better chance this year. But that's only because of the stupid and unconcentrated play of the Cowboys.

I'm not a Cowboys fan by any means, but I don't think you can blame Parcels here. Yes, he might have gotten on his team a little more for the stupid penalties (T.O. and his sleepy-time, for example), but penalties are earned by the players.

I think the true test will be to see how they play next week. If the stupid mistakes continue, maybe it IS Parcels, but I really think it was just a poorly played game with some bad moves by players thrown in.

I think You should gather the best of these previous comments, and make up a conclusion.
Jerry Jones has a lot to do with the way cowboys are acting, and playing. He is too involved in the team, and he is giving his players too much freedom, and space, and not letting the coach do his job. As Part it is his fault, and partly the medias, who cares what Jerry has to say about an injured player, or other things. You don't see The Skins owner walk around the field, and give coments and interviews. But he does, and that interupts the coaching!
The fact that Parcell doesn't stick around, yes, that is true. but he does do a good Job. But the fact remains that Football players are not rocket scientist, and the smartest people on earth, the know what the have to know and that is play ball. And Parcell gives up on them on the first let down, and looks at them like 5 year olds who won't learn. Diciplin comes with years, and consistancy, and he has to stick to it. not change around players that much, and adding TO ( a good decision for the game, but bad one for the team focus) was a drasting change that comes with aftershocks, and we are feeling them right now.
The most important factor is that the Cowboys do not look like a TEAM. it is a bunch of individual players doing their thing, and there is absolutely no chemistry. So if one player messes up there is no one there to lift them up, but there is TO yelling at them.
And Parcell said they can make the playoffs if they win 10 games. Good luck facing Colts, and Falcons. The only chance they have is the Wildcad! let's pray for that!

I am a huge Cowboys fan and have mixed feelings about Bill Parcels. I know he likes to run the ball, run the ball and sometimes that is old school and when it's not working, change it. On Sunday against that Skins, it won't working!!! The Cowboys are just not consistent. They played awesome against the Panthers and then come out and let the likes of the Redskins beat them. They beat theirselves when they tried for that 2 point conversion instead of just going for the extra point in the first half. I told my husband that that play would come back and bite them in the butts and it did!! Bill Parcells is so old school, I think we need someone who is new school.

With a jack*ss like Jerry Jones on the sidelines, no coach will ever have control of Dallas. Jones needs to go sit in his box and let the coach...coach.

You should contact the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles. They will tell you if it's the coach or someone else that is messing up the team.

the thing I don't like about Parcells is he seems to quit on his teams and I think the reputation has caught up to him..Hard to really buy into his teaching when you know he will end up leaving just like he did everywhere he has been. He never sticks around. He never finishes the job..the only time he got somewhere was in NY. He still ended up leaving

parcells, is not doign a bad job, he does need to do something, no the players need to do something bout there lack of focus taht is the only real big prob that the cowboys, yes they have other probs, but that is the main one, and everything is on the coach, but that should be put on the players not the coach, they need too take it apon themselves for the money they make
