LOL. "they" is an vague reference to a nameless authority attributed to folklore, housewives tales, a compilation of relatives, friends, and every single authority one has known.
Of course everything "they" say is.... unsubstantiated .

I don't know who "they" is. I have been trying to find "they" for many years. It seems as if according to my son when he was younger(high school) that "they" were responsible for just about everything that happened cool, fun, or bad. When he wanted to go to a party "they" said it was gonna be a matter of high school life or death if he didn't get to go. "They" had all the really expensive cars, shoes, and clothes(we weren't poor, he had his share of really expensive clothes etc. just not enough to suit him). Whenever he got into trouble "they" somehow were responsible for what happened to him. Since he is grown and married and living on his own dime, I don't think "they" show up nearly as often as often as "they" used to. I will tell you one thing if I ever meet "they" I'm gonna kick some ***. LOL

It is whoever the person making the statement wants it to be. Anyway, that's what I hear....so it must also be what they say.

Everyone else. The majority. And even though you won't admit it, it's you too.
