"Cleaning your whitewall tires with the incorrect cleaners can permanently damage the color and quality of the tire.
Stay away from cleaners that contain bleach, silicon, or harsh chemicals. These cleaners may make the tire shine white for a time, but eventually they will cause deep yellowing and cracking that can not be reversed.
The most important thing is to keep the tires clean from day one. Just like a white shirt, if dirt and grim is allowed to sit on the tire, the white wall may never return to it's original bright white."
Coker Tire sells an orange based cleaner, or I've heard the best thing to use is Simple Green.

a million. SOS pad 2. Comet 3. delicate Scrub 4. Bleech White (Westley's) 5. good brush or scrubbing sponge 6. Brass brush works too do no longer use brake fluid, brake air purifier, and so on like others say. specific it somewhat works however the chemical components in those products will destroy down the rubber and reason your sidewalls to dry rot very at as quickly as.

I used to use fine grade steel wool with soap to clean the white walls and white letters on my car in the 70s Its OK as long as they are true rubber white walls if they are painted redo them with sand shoe white . if they dry well they wont run later.
PS if they have tire scuffs that are black a little methylated spirits mixed with the soap will help . happy motoring .
